All of our people know how to smile and sell. As to the sale mechanics, and to protect both of us, E-S-S carries a general liability policy of one million dollars for each sale and has dishonesty bonds on our employees. Certificates of insurance can be provided, and we may employ security personnel if necessary. We have a resale license and collect sales tax which we remit to the State Board of Equalization. All sale costs are covered by us, and sellers usually have no out-of-pocket costs. Of course sales tax and credit-card charges are deducted from the gross sale proceeds.
